Well, it is my last day here in the beautiful New Zealand. I've gotten to meet a lot of wonderfully welcoming people, so I definitely suggest making your way to NZ sometime in your life!
Last week I was fortunate enough to go on a field trip with an Early Childhood Education class from Wintec. It was an "Identity and Diversity" class that focused on Maori history and events:

Pirongia town church and museum
Pirongia stronghold
Rangiawhia church
Orakau battle site
Kihikihi town memorial
Te Awamutu museum (traditional Maori battle pieces)
Last weekend, Susan took me to Mystery Creek's famous "Fieldays", which is a farming event out in the country side that features every piece of farming equipment that you can imagine.
John Deere tractors getting ready for a race!
New Zealand's weta
Cow truck!
Highland cattle
Waffles!
